at 9.45 take the ferry to Rost, cost 76nkr each (no student discount). After exactly two hours to arrive on the island and we expect the kind Mr. Karoy owner of ' hostel to stay. With his boat through the channel which separates the block from the rest of the island. The lady gives us a double room (shared bathroom and kitchen) to 300nkr. The price is low and we should be fine but I have to say that cleanliness leaves something 'to be desired and the place seems quite neglected.
With a rowboat we reach the main island and turn to walk all day, do a bit of supplies to the supermarket and then take refuge in a lovely ' hotel (right in front of our hostel) drinking a cup of hot coffee.
In the late afternoon boat back to our hostel and Mr. Karoy gives us some cod fillets for dinner. We conclude the day with a nice pasta with pesto and fillet of cod fried.
